Barfoed test
检单糖的一种试验。将5ml的Barfoed试剂煮沸，在保持其沸腾情况下缓慢地加入待检物。单糖还原比混合物，形成红色沉淀物；而双糖虽亦能还原，但反应甚慢，可与前者区别。
