固定汇率

经济学中长期争论的一个问题是：固定汇率是否优于浮动汇率？

马来西亚1998年实施固定汇率，将林吉特兑美元汇率固定在3.8比1，将其作为一揽子资本控制措施的一部分，以稳定其货币汇率。

无论在固定汇率还是浮动汇率都不能取代完好的宏观经济政策。这些政策显然包括货币政策和财政政策。
