摘要通过大冶毛铺～阳新两剑桥东西向断裂带东段地质背景、已知矿床地质特征及前人地质工作的综合分析，结合西段已知矿床的特征和鸡冠嘴铜金矿床成功的找矿经验，分析东西向断裂带的东段与阳新火山岩沉积盆地边缘交汇地段存在大量的隐伏斑岩型铜钼金矿床的找矿信息，推断阳新火山岩沉积盆地边缘存在隐伏含铜钼金成矿岩体。
